The Challenge

Our Approach

Segue Systems conducted a Power BI reporting assessment to evaluate the client’s current environment and define a scalable analytics roadmap.

We worked with stakeholders across Finance, HR, and Operations to understand reporting needs, review existing workflows, and assess technical readiness. Based on this discovery, we designed a centralized reporting architecture built around a Power BI semantic model, with SharePoint supporting structured data management and governance.

To validate the approach, we developed a proof of concept using the client’s data. Interactive dashboards demonstrated key metrics such as staffing levels, hours worked, and financial performance, with drill‑downs by centre, region, and age group. Role‑based views and advanced filtering illustrated how insights could be tailored to different audiences.

The engagement concluded with a phased roadmap outlining next steps, including automation opportunities, improved report distribution, and a foundation for future self‑serve reporting.
